1. What significant life experiences or events have influenced and shaped your artistic vision?

As a child, I loved going through the large containers and albums filled with photos my parents had taken and kept. I could stare at them for hours, almost feeling like I was present in the scenes I was viewing. The same was true for art—I would get completely lost in it. This fascination eventually led me to experiment with various art forms, including photography.

2. Collaboration often sparks fresh creativity. Can you share an example of a collaboration that led to an unexpected and exciting artistic outcome?

I make it a point to collaborate and remain open to ideas with almost every project. Often, the initial concept evolves through input from the subject, makeup artist, or others involved. These suggestions and perspectives are combined to create the final image, resulting in work that is richer and more dynamic than the original vision.

3. Walk us through a specific project that challenged your creative boundaries. How did you approach it, and what did you learn from the experience?

One of the most challenging projects I’ve worked on is a current personal project that, at first glance, appears simple but carries deep meaning. It began as a straightforward idea but has evolved into an exploration of myself. I approached this project like others before it—with research, location scouting, brainstorming, and sketches. However, as it progressed, I realized it had grown into something far more significant than I originally intended. This experience taught me to embrace the unexpected and allow my work to evolve naturally.

4. In the ever-evolving art world, what do you believe sets your work apart and makes it unique or groundbreaking?

I begin each piece with a message or feeling I want to convey and then select colors that reinforce that emotion—olive green for tranquility, earthiness, and elegance; red for power, passion, and confidence, and so on. Beyond colors, I carefully curate expressions, locations, sets, and wardrobe, blending these elements to create a cohesive vision. The process, the final result, and the emotions it evokes in the viewer are what define my work and set it apart.

5. As you reflect on your journey, are there any specific goals or milestones you've set for your artistic career in the coming years?

My primary goal is to focus more on personal projects and develop the confidence to share them openly. I believe my best work is yet to be seen, and I’m eager to bring those creations to light.
