1. What significant life experiences or events have influenced and shaped your artistic vision?

With romantic and dreamlike aesthetics, my journey as a London-based jewelry artist has been profoundly shaped by traveling and studying in the UK. Moving to London at 17 immersed me in its vibrant art scene, where I connected with brilliant artists and classmates whose creativity enriched my practice. The city’s diverse landscape expanded my creative boundaries and inspired new directions. Louise Bourgeois has been a continuous source of inspiration, nurturing my artistic sensibilities. My work blends traditional craftsmanship with contemporary sensibilities, crafting exquisite wedding jewelry that tells captivating visual stories.

2. Collaboration often sparks fresh creativity. Can you share an example of a collaboration that led to an unexpected and exciting artistic outcome?

Collaboration has always been a vital source of inspiration and innovation in my artistic journey. Working with others often brings fresh perspectives and ideas that I wouldn't have discovered on my own. For example, in my collection "Under the White," I collaborated with artists from different fields including an art director, a photographer, and a performance artist. This collaboration brought together diverse skills and ideas, resulting in a multifaceted and dynamic collection that was far beyond what I had originally envisioned.

3. Walk us through a specific project that challenged your creative boundaries. How did you approach it, and what did you learn from the experience?

One project that significantly challenged my creative boundaries was a collaborative installation for a public art exhibit. The project required merging my jewelry design skills with large-scale sculpture techniques. I approached it by collaborating closely with sculptors and architects, learning new materials and methods along the way. This experience taught me the importance of adaptability and the power of interdisciplinary collaboration, ultimately broadening my artistic horizons and enhancing my creative process.

4. In the ever-evolving art world, what do you believe sets your work apart and makes it unique or groundbreaking?

What sets my work apart in the ever-evolving art world is my ability to seamlessly blend traditional craftsmanship with contemporary design principles. My focus on storytelling through jewelry, incorporating symbolic elements and intricate details, allows each piece to convey deeper meanings and emotions. Additionally, integrating photography and visual arts to enhance the narrative quality of my pieces adds a unique dimension, making my work not just adornments but also profound expressions of identity and human experience.

5. As you reflect on your journey, are there any specific goals or milestones you've set for your artistic career in the coming years?

As I reflect on my journey, I have set several specific goals for my artistic career in the coming years. A major milestone is to establish my own jewelry brand, focusing on wedding jewelry that embodies my artistic vision and values. I aim to expand my presence in international markets by participating in global exhibitions and collaborations. I hope to share my aesthetics with the world, weaving my creative essence into the tapestry of international artistry.

6. How did you discover Mob and what made you choose us?

Because Mob magazine is such a great publication, it gathers a lot of talented artists and designers, creating an exceptional platform for reaching a wider audience. Plus, I love the vibe of Mob ;)

  • “White bows” are traditionally a symbol synonymous with innocence, purity and feminism. The collection explores the idea of purity. It charts the transition from traditional female stereotypes to modern women. The ribbon, floating in the air, is used as a symbol that represents the journey to liberation, and also elegance, freedom and the spirit of femininity.
