1. What significant life experiences or events have influenced and shaped your artistic vision?

I think the biggest thing that drives my artistic expression is just going through life and trying to feel and experience as much as possible. I try to reflect on those feelings in my art.

2. Collaboration often sparks fresh creativity. Can you share an example of a collaboration that led to an unexpected and exciting artistic outcome?

Collaborating is one of my favorite things to do in my work. I think it is so special to be able to share art and ideas with others. I love getting work with other people on a piece and molding eachothers approaches and using our different world experiences to create something really lovely and special to everyone involved.

3. Walk us through a specific project that challenged your creative boundaries. How did you approach it, and what did you learn from the experience?

As a filmmaker and photographer I have had my fair share of challenges in making art whether it has been logistical, budgetary, or something else. One of the things that I have always reminded myself when faced with those challenges in making art is that the obstacle tends to be the solution in whatever it is you’re facing and most of the time whatever solution you are able to find, tends to be better and also allows you to grow as an artist.

4. In the ever-evolving art world, what do you believe sets your work apart and makes it unique or groundbreaking?

I don’t know if my work is groundbreaking or unique in any specific way. What I do know is that my art is a reflection of me and who I am, so to me that makes it very special.

5. As you reflect on your journey, are there any specific goals or milestones you've set for your artistic career in the coming years?

As a photographer, I think one of my biggest goals would be to publish a photo book and maybe one day put together a solo gallery show for a specific collection of photos.
