Different sides of the same world

1. What significant life experiences or events have influenced and shaped your artistic vision?
First, my background. Since I was a little girl I have loved everything connected to creativity. I used to be a hip-hop dancer and the influence of the hip-hop industry left a big mark on me. Moving by myself at an early age to China also did impact my vision. Later on, visiting different countries, learning about cultures and religions in a deep way. Anyway, it is still evolving and it is not the end.
2. Collaboration often sparks fresh creativity. Can you share an example of a collaboration that led to an unexpected and exciting artistic outcome?
Each person and each project makes me learn something new. A creative mind is flexible thinking. I do like to look from different perspectives on things. I listen carefully to what people say, as each person has a unique vision and if I try to deeply understand what they are trying to deliver to me, I will grow at this moment.
3. Walk us through a specific project that challenged your creative boundaries. How did you approach it, and what did you learn from the experience?
I can't tell you a specific project. As most of my work is done in outdoor environments and locations. I think it is fast catch of the moment or wind movement or certain light/ shades. Usually, I go to locations that aren't prepared for shooting and I can't even repeat any of my work because the moment was unique. It is not a studio and light diagram.
4. In the ever-evolving art world, what do you believe sets your work apart and makes it unique or groundbreaking?
Vision. This is just one thing what makes all artists different and unique is their vision. Also, we could add experience to the life.
5. As you reflect on your journey, are there any specific goals or milestones you've set for your artistic career in the coming years?
Oh, I have dreams for sure (laughing). Dreams I divide into small goals, small goals with baby steps leading to dreams. You can have a plan, but the universe can have bigger things for you.
